Receiving admission to study law is a major achievement. For many students, it is the beginning of a journey towards becoming an advocate, legal practitioner, judge, academic, or policymaker. Yet, while gaining admission is exciting, the reality of law school often surprises new students. The workload is demanding, the reading is extensive, and success depends on much more than intelligence alone.
